Automatic Portable Satellite TV Antenna
Update Winegard's new Carryout™ Automatic Portable Satellite TV Antenna will be available at RV dealerships and retailers starting March 16th.
Winegard Company introduces the Carryout™ Automatic Portable Satellite TV Antenna. At only 15.6" high and 20" diameter, it is the most compact automatic portable satellite TV antenna on the market. A perfect partner for RVers, camping, boating, tailgating, races, wooded areas, cabins and vacation homes, the Carryout antenna can be used anytime, anywhere. Simply connect to a receiver and plug into 12V power source and it'll do the rest! No remote or controls needed.
"Winegard has a long history of providing the highest quality of mobile television antennas for the RV market, and the Carryout is a natural extension of that," said Aaron Engberg, director, mobile products, Winegard. "And this product isn't limited to just RVers, but rather to anyone looking for an easy way to watch television in a non-traditional setting."
Featuring DVB technology for extremely fast and accurate satellite acquisition, the Carryout automatically locks on and switches between the desired satellites. The Carryout is compatible with all major satellite providers and receives all standard and HD programming for DISH Network® and Bell TV, as well as standard DIRECTV® programming (not compatible with 110º for HD or KA-band satellites 99º and 103º).
An easy grip handle provides for effortless carrying and added security. The Carryout runs off of 12V and plugs into a vehicle's standard cigarette outlet or Winegard's 110V power inverter. Unit weight is only 13.5 lbs. With an MSRP of $899.00, the Carryout (GM-1518) is the most affordable automatic portable mobile entertainment option on the market. Product availability starting April 2009.
Optional accessories include a 110V power inverter (GM-1200) and a ladder mount option with quick disconnect for the Carryout (GM-3000), both sold separately.

| Firestone Industrial Products 2009 Catalog Available |
|
|
Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, offers its 2009 air helper springs catalog detailing new products and accessories available for today's cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motor homes and RVs.
The 36-page color catalog features a new "Application Guide by Kit" - a reverse parts lookup of the top 25 Ride-Rite(tm), Sport-Rite(tm) and Level-Rite(tm) kits, as well as the top 10 Coil-Rite(tm) kits, along with the vehicles they are designed to fit. There is also a complete application guide to allow dealers to quickly search parts by vehicle make and model.
Detailed descriptions of Firestone's air helper springs kits, which work to help level your vehicle, maximize load capacity and improve a vehicle's ride, are included in the literature. Dealers will also find individual air springs, air components, service parts and air accessory systems listed with part numbers and descriptions. The catalog includes technical tips along with frequently asked questions and answers.
Firestone's air helper springs can be inflated manually or via one of Firestone's on-board air compressor kits that adjust air pressure easily from the driver's seat. Many kits offer time-saving no-drill installations.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the vehicle's frame and suspension and offer added load support in addition to vehicle leveling. Load carrying capacities vary between 3,000 and 5,000 lbs. per set.
Sport-Rite air helper springs mount between the frame and the suspension to enhance the vehicle's ride characteristics, while also keeping the vehicle level. Designed for small pickups, SUVs and vans, Sport-Rite air springs support up to 3,000 lbs. per set.
Coil-Rite air helper springs mount inside an existing open coil spring suspension and allow for adjustable spring rates that are superior to standard coil springs. They support between 500 and 1,000 lbs. per set.
Level-Rite kits feature a fully protected, reversible sleeve air spring paired with a high-performance Bilstein(r) monotube shock absorber to help level the front end of vehicles that see use in snow-plowing, off-roading, or that have slide-in campers or large, heavy grill guards.
Firestone's Complete Suspension Solutions - including Ride-Rite, Sport-Rite, Coil-Rite and Level-Rite air helper springs as well as their complete line of air accessory systems - have become synonymous with quality, durability and outstanding customer support. For more information, visit Web Site

| Girard Introduces Next Generation Sunbrella Awning Fabrics |
|
|
The "next generation" of Sunbrella awning fabrics are now featured in Girard Systems line of vehicle awnings.
Girard Systems, a leading manufacturer of quality RV awnings and shade solutions for both recreational vehicles and specialty vehicles announced the launch of their newest advancement in RV awnings - the "next generation" awning featuring Sunbrella fabrics. The new fabrics, which feature enhanced strength and efficiency offer a 25% increase in water repellency without a loss in breathability. Breathability is an important feature for retractable RV awnings as it allows for warm air to pass through the fabric instead of trapping it. The result is a much cooler environment, as much as 20% cooler than awnings that utilize older acrylic fabrics.
According to Jerry Rennert, President of Girard Awnings, new awning construction and fabric enhancements, have enabled Girard Systems to create a superior awning in terms of comfort, water repellency, strength and durability. This is the type of awning that no one thought possible only a few short years ago. With new enhancements in both housing design and fabric performance and efficiency Girard Systems has the next generation awning, now.
Girard Systems "next generation" awnings are backed by a best-in-class 5-year limited warranty for the housing, electronics and fabric for workmanship protection, color and material strength loss, making them the safest awning investment on the market.
Girard Systems awnings with Sunbrella Next Generation fabrics are also environmentally friendly, reducing energy cooling consumption by 10%-60% and peak cooling loads by as much as 40% depending on geographic location. Less energy is required to cool RVs because Girard RV awnings reduce the sun?s heat from entering through windows and walls.
Girard Systems retractable awnings are recognized by The Skin Cancer Foundation as an aid in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin while also protecting RVs against the suns harmful rays.
Girard's product line of awnings can be found at Web Site.
