RVs Move America Economic Impact Study was released June 3, 2019 at the RVIA annual meeting.

It revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supports nearly 600,000 jobs, with more than $32 billion in wages, and pays more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

Hershey Opens Monday with Industry Days

156571166148240.jpgMonths of planning and preparation come to an end on Monday when the annual Hershey Americas Largest RV Show kicks off with two industry days before the gates open to the general public on Wednesday.

The show will feature 1,545 RVs, from tiny trailers and park models to fifth wheels and Type A motorhomes, show organizers say.

Industry days, Sept. 9-10, offer dealers, sales staff and techs special training programs, discounts and product demos at dozens of supplier booths. Dealers are also connecting with customers at the more than 45 manufacturer-sponsored booths.

Most manufacturers on hand will be demonstrating their latest models and hottest sellers, they say.
