Cap-it International, a truck accessories and camping products retailers is entering a partnership with Keystone Automotive Operations, an aftermarket parts distributor and marketer, to supply its Cap-it Genuine Truckware locations across Canada and in the U.S.
Previously, Cap-it was supplied by Western Warehouse, a light truck accessory wholesale distributor based in Western Canada.
With the new partnership, Cap-it “will accelerate our efforts to expand the brand across North America,” Cap-it International President Andrew Funk says. “Keystone’s exceptional service and inventory makes it the perfect partner to allow us to focus on growth while ensuring that our franchisees and customers receive the best service possible.”
Cap-it management has “built an impressive business model focused on providing the best possible customer experience,” Keystone Automotive Operations President Bill Rogers says. “We have been servicing Cap-it locations for many years are excited for the opportunity to significantly expand the partnership and enable their growth plans.”
From its Canadian head office in British Columbia and new U.S. office in Haltom City, Texas, near DFW, Cap-it operates 29 stores, primarily in Canada. It recently expanded in the U.S. with the opening of the Haltom City retail location.
Headquartered in Exeter, Pa., Keystone Automotive is a distributor and marketer of automotive aftermarket products and services. The company was acquired by LKQ Corp. in 2014.
