A power cord from SmartPlug allows RVers to plug into residential power while away from a campground pedestal.
The SmartPlug 15A 115V Dual Configuration Cordset has a standard three-prong household plug on one end. On the other, it features a redesigned RV plug that updates the traditional twist-type shore power connector with double-sidelocking clips and asymmetrical shape.
The assembled plug and inlet are designed to absorb the force of an impact, reducing the load and stress on the electrical connection and improving safety.
The SmartPlug design also features 20 times more the metal-to-metal contact, providing greater protection against resistance and overheating, the leading causes of power failure and RV fires.
Founded in 2007 and based in Seattle, SmartPlug is a privately held manufacturing firm specializing in power delivery connectors for RV and commercial applications.
