A new testbed build from Lance Camper called Altimeter will highlight the company’s exhibit at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The Altimeter mounts the Lance 855S Truck Camper equipped with specialty overland features on a 2019 Ford F350 SRW Super Duty 4X4 Crew Cab and “is a blast to operate” Lance Director of Marketing Bob Rogers says.
Built with readily obtainable components from OEM suppliers, the Altimeter is a testbed for new features such as lithium batteries and a heating system from Truma.
Playing off its presence in the Overlanding Experience at the SEMA Performance Pavilion, Lance has found “an ideal venue to showcase how the Lance Truck Camper is perfect for this lifestyle,” Rogers says.
Also on hand at the Lance exhibit will be a matching 2019 Yamaha 1000R SE YXZ sport side-by-side “to bring along for even more extreme overlanding forays,” he adds.
Displaying the Altimeter at SEMA allows Lance “to showcase our industry-leading capabilities and to raise awareness of just how good this type of RV is for these different lifestyles,” Altimeter Project Manager Jim Waters says.
The Lance Altimeter will be displayed at SEMA show booth #51409 in the Overlanding Experience section of the Performance Pavilion.
A video of the Altimeter is posted to YouTube here.
The SEMA Show is scheduled for Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Additional information is available from SEMA on the show website.
