RVs Move America Economic Impact Study was released June 3, 2019 at the RVIA annual meeting.

It revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supports nearly 600,000 jobs, with more than $32 billion in wages, and pays more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

China Says U.S. Must Cut Tariffs to Reach Trade Deal

157314041684181.jpgThe Chinese government on Thursday said Beijing and the Trump administration have agreed to get rid of some tariffs as the two sides work toward ending their 19-month-long trade war.

Beijing also hardened its stance by publicly voicing its insistence that a deal could not take place without each side canceling at least some tariffs.

Gao Feng, a spokesman for China’s Commerce Ministry, said at his weekly news conference in Beijing that China is insisting that any deal include tariff reductions and that the United States had agreed to remove tariffs as part of an agreement.
