Cirrus Solutions has announced it is one of the first dealership management system providers to have fully functional repair event cycle time (RECT) reporting for its dealers.
In 2018, the RVIA board of directors approved a plan to address RV owner satisfaction, driving members and partners to focus on reducing RECT.
Recognizing the importance of tracking and measuring this information, Cirrus Solutions created specialized reporting for its dealers, tracking more than 15 events during the repair cycle. Events measured include drop-off to dispatch days; if an incorrect part was received; and days waiting for a customer to pick up after the repair is complete.
“After using Cirrus’ RECT reports for the last six months, we have been able to reduce our repair times by days and even weeks after recognizing where delays were taking place,” says Mark Magnacca, general manager of Sprad’s RV in Reno, Nevada. “This report is one of the most powerful reports in the Cirrus arsenal.”
Cirrus President Patrick West says, “We believe Cirrus Solutions has created the best reporting for RECT in the industry and are already seeing our dealers realize the importance of this information at their fingertips. Cirrus Solutions will continue to be the frontrunner in technology for RV-industry dealership management systems.”
