Cape Breton Trailer Sales Ltd., is a family-owned and operated trailer dealership founded in 1964. Marsh and his wife, Maureen, bought the dealership in 1989. In 2004, the dealership relocated to an expanded facility where it is today.

Their daughter also works at the dealership as its business manager.

Eleonore Hamm, president of the RVDA Canada, says Cape Breton Trailer Sales offers a wide variety of quality products as well as friendly customer service.

“They take pride in offering their loyal and long-term customers with the most current trends,” Hamm says, “and information about the industry.”

Bruce Marsh is currently serving as past president of the Atlantic Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association and has been a director of the RVDA of Canada for over 10 years. Marsh also drives a school bus and volunteers with many community organizations.

Each year, the RVDA of Canada, in conjunction with RV Lifestyle Magazine and Dealer News, invites nominations from across Canada for the Canadian RV Dealer of the Year Award. The award is dedicated to the memory of the late Walt Paseska, founder of the Walt’s Trailer Sales in Headingly, Manitoba, in recognition of Paseska’s many years of commitment and dedication to the RV industry.

Hamm says the award is presented to individuals who share Paseska’s enthusiasm and commitment, in recognition of their long-term contribution to the RV lifestyle, and commitment to the community as a whole.
