RVs Move America Economic Impact Study was released June 3, 2019 at the RVIA annual meeting.

It revealed the RV industry has an overall economic impact on the US economy of $114 billion, supports nearly 600,000 jobs, with more than $32 billion in wages, and pays more than $12 billion in federal, state, and local taxes.

The announcement was made by Garry Enyart, RVIA chairman, and Onan/Cummins Director of Mobile Generator Sales & Coach Care.

Alliance RV Hires Former Heartland Exec as VP

157532001457480.jpgAlliance RV hired Steve Lidy, formally of Heartland RV as vice president of marketing. Lidy will be responsible for all marketing initiatives, including building the Alliance brand and conveying the value of the Alliance story.

“I have a long history of working closely with Steve, and it is very exciting to welcome his marketing talents to the Alliance team,” said Alliance Co-Founder Coley Brady.  “We are working to create a different kind of RV company, and Steve will be a key player in getting our message out to the retail consumers and our dealer partners.”

Lidy has more than 20 years of RV industry experience. Most recently with Heartland RV, where he formally worked with Coley Brady. Brady was vice president of sales at Heartland RV before leaving to launch Alliance RV.

Alliance Co-Founder Ryan Brady, Coley Brady's brother said, “Steve is a great addition to our team as he clearly understands the vision we are working to achieve."

Lidy said he was "inspired and humbled" to with with the Bradys to launch the RV company. He cites how the new leadership of Alliance RV has more than 200 years of combined experience within the industry driving the company's success.

“Proven leadership and a blank canvas, positions Alliance for an aggressive entrance into the market and an epic long-term future that I am excited to be a part of," Lidy said.

Other executive who have been enlisted at the new RV manufacturing company include: Erik Bartman, Tim Miller, Dennis Donat, Ryan Brady, Bill Martin, Coley and Brian Brady, Ben Randall and Charlie Cohen.
