The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Fairfax, Virginia - RV dealers can provide Dale Carnegie training for their sales staff during the 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo. The convention’s sales track features Cory McGuire of Dale Carnegie Training of Nevada, who will present two workshops developed for sales professionals on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The RV Dealers International Convention/Expo will be held from Nov. 7-11 in Las Vegas. It is the premier education event for dealers and their staff. The theme is “Gear up for Success.” The sales track will cover topics from communication to team building and is geared to keep a dealership sales staff on track to outperform competitors. Two important compliance workshops are also part of the track, with critical education about how to keep everyone on your team on the right side of the law.
The Carnegie workshops are “Overcoming Objections” and “Transforming Customer Complaints into Opportunities.” McGuire has worked extensively doing training in the RV and automotive industries at the dealership level and with auto manufacturers. In addition to McGuire, the track features three other new presenters delivering sales education chosen by the RVDA Convention/Expo Committee. Cory Mosley of Mosley Automotive Training, Pete Smith of SmithImpact, and Glen Daman of 10th Degree Consulting are all new presenters.
Other presenters include Michael Rees of A World of Training and Greg Artman of Diversified Insurance Management, Inc., a Bronze Partner of the Convention/Expo. Friday’s compliance education presenters are Harvey Fisher of Ally, a Silver Partner of the Convention/Expo, and Bob Harkins of the American Guardian Group of Companies.
