The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Tacoma, Washington – Sobel University is well known in the RV industry for its five-day comprehensive sales and management training classes and has opened enrollment for a special 3-day course Aug. 3-5.
This special edition of the Comprehensive Sales Course is designed for new employees, those needing remedial help, or salespeople wanting to give themselves more tools to help their customers while the season is still hot.
The Comprehensive Sales Course is a "boot camp" class for new and experienced salespeople and managers, according to a press release. Students can expect a challenging eight hours of classroom instruction with homework every night and exams every day. Students also are put into role playing situations which helps sharpen their skills. Dealers have reported a drastic increase in sales volume upon their staff’s successful completion of this class. Salespeople can expect a challenge whether it is their first attendance or their 15th.
