FRVTA Donates $15K to Jacksonville Equestrian Center

Mon Jul 11, 2016

The Northeast Florida chapter of the Florida RV Trade Association has donated $15,000 to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center for future capital improvements within the RV park at the facility.

The FRVTA Region 6 board of directors — made up of area RV dealers, accessory companies and campground representatives — voted in May to make a donation to the center after a presentation by the organization’s executive director and general operations manager. Members of the Jacksonville Equestrian Center Board and the regional RV board met in June to celebrate the donation.

The area’s largest RV event — the four-day Jacksonville RV MegaShow — takes place each February at the equestrian center. The 2017 show is tentatively set for Feb. 9-12.
