RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

EverGreen RV Auction Commences In Next Three Days

146835248226640.jpgA large, three-day complete liquidation auction selling off former EverGreen RV merchandise and company products will be held July 11-13 in Middlebury, Indiana.

EverGreen RV closed its business earlier in June after financial problems hit the surface and company officials weren't able to find the financial backing they needed to stay afloat.

The auction will include a large amount of inventory and raw materials, such as paneling, finished cabinets, flat screen TVs, trailer wiring harnesses and much more.

It also will include equipment, machinery and new RV inventory and materials, trucks, tractors and forklifts and other items, according to an auction flyer by Hahn Auctioneers, Inc.

The auction will take place in three separate locations on all three days.

The auction will begin July 11 at 2 p.m. at the EverGreen RV Service Center on SR 13 in Middlebury. It will continue July 12 at the EverGreen Lifestyle Luxury Facility on Lovejoy Drive starting at 9 a.m. and will finish on July 13 at the EverGreen RV Towable Facility on CR2 starting at 9 a.m.
