Middlebury Town Council Proposes Annexation of Jayco Land

Mon Jul 11, 2016

MIDDLEBURY, Indiana — The Middlebury Town Council introduced an ordinance to annex roughly 35 acres into the town at their meeting on July 5 at the request of Jayco, Patrick Industries, Myrrh Properties and L&W Engineering.

The council held a public hearing on the annexation before introducing the annexation ordinance. No public comments were made on the annexation and nothing was said about Jayco’s acquisition by Thor Industries last week.

Most of the land to be annexed is owned by Jayco. The company owns 40 parcels of land that already are within the Middlebury town limits. The annexation would bring in six more parcels into the town.
