RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

ARI Network Services Replaces Bell Website for Land 'N' Sea

146920349372024.jpgMILWAUKEE, Wisconsin - ARI Network Services, Inc. has announced it has signed an agreement with Land 'N' Sea, an industry leader in RV, marine and powersports parts and accessories wholesale distribution, to replace Bell Recreational Product Group's website program with ARI-powered branded microsites.

Under the agreement, the microsites will be provided to eligible RV dealers which will include pre-loaded merchandising banners, Land 'N' Sea P&A catalogs, lead management forms and an eCommerce platform. Dealers also will receive quarterly consultations and free online presence assessments as well as special offers on full ARI-powered RV dealer websites and other ARI products and services.

In addition, ARI will convert and optimize Land 'N' Sea's complete P&A catalogs, including the Bell RPG catalogs, into a consumer-oriented, illustrated parts lookup format to allow buyers to easily look up and order parts on ARI-powered dealer websites.

"With more and more of today's RV buyers researching products online, we recognized the importance of providing consumers with a seamless, branded online experience," Land 'N' Sea President Tom Schuessler says. "We're confident that ARI's branded microsites will help our dealers take their online presence to the next level."

Fully optimized for search engines and mobile browsing, ARI's RV dealer websites offer industry-specific features including enriched OEM and aftermarket brochures and parts catalogs, a merchandise manager that allows dealers to display their inventory, service scheduling tools and eCommerce functionality.
