Laramie City Council Passes Ordinances for RV/MH Communities

Mon Jul 25, 2016

After some last minute amendments Tuesday, the Laramie City Council passed the final readings of a set of ordinances pertaining to manufactured home communities and recreational vehicles following years of delays and changes.

Throughout the review process, — dealing mostly with licensing standards in manufactured home communities — several concerns were brought forward by park owners and their residents, and were supported by some on Council.

Many opposed a 180 day limit for recreational vehicles in manufactured home communities and RV parks, as well as a provision prohibiting intermingling recreational vehicles and manufactured homes.
