The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

SHIPSHEWANA, Indiana – Dan Gill has joined K-Z as a district sales manager representing the company’s Durango and Venom lines of fifth wheels and fifth wheel toy haulers, the Durango and Venom Product Manager Mike Mack announced.
As such, Gill will serve dealers of the Central United States and Canada. Gill also will be responsible for further market share expansion of the aforementioned fifth wheel product lines.
“Dan comes to us with 22 years of RV experience, including stints as regional sales manager, national sales manager and director of sales," Mack says. "His well-rounded manufacturing, product planning and sales experience is a perfect fit with our team.”
“Everyone is aware of K-Z’s quality and that they’re known for taking care of their dealers,” Gill says. "But when I researched their Stat Survey growth and saw their plans for this year’s Open House, I knew I’d found the right place to call home. Who wouldn’t be excited about being included in K-Z’s future?”
Gill hails from northern Indiana, graduated from Indiana University with a degree in chemistry, and enjoys golf, football and basketball.
