Fairfax, Virginia - Numerous federal agencies are sharply increasing fines and penalties for regulatory infractions beginning on Aug. 1.
In some cases fines are going up by 150 percent, according to a press release from the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association. The Mike Molino RV Learning Center is offering a free webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 3, at noon EDT, to help dealers learn the details of the fine increases and some of the most common violations they could face.
Three presenters from KPA will come together for the webinar on the changing penalties and fines coming from four different federal agencies. Presenters Kathryn Carlson, Eric Schmitz, and Ryan Lane will provide an overview of the fine increases and also will provide a better understanding of dealership responsibilities for OSHA, Fair Labor Standards Act, US Citizen and Immigration Services, EPA and FTC compliance.
