RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Bay Bayou to Expand to Bayou Grande in November

147008208438491.jpgTampa, Florida - Bay Bayou has announced Bayou Grande, 53 newly developed, paved sites in the Tampa area to be completed by Nov. 1.

Bayou Grande features a variety of enhanced amenities including extended concrete pads, angled at 60 degrees for easy back-in with all-in-one electric, water and cable TV hook-up, 50 - 100 amp electric service, Wi-Fi and a picnic table at each site. Bayou Grande offers the only luxury RV sites in the Tampa Bay area with 100 amp electric, according to a press release from Bay Bayou.

Professional landscaping creates separation between the sites with ample parking on the paved drive for an RV and vehicle. The 20 foot pad width allows plenty of space to set up chairs, a table and covered fire pit.

The new resort will be situation around the natural surroundings on Double Branch Creek and RVers and campers will be able to enjoy the deluxe facilities and amenities. Bay Bayou is located near Tampa's exciting attractions, dining and the Gulf beaches. The Resort is pet friendly with a large and small dog park and offers many on-site activities including shuffleboard, Bocce ball, horseshoes, fishing from the docks and canoeing or kayaking in the backwaters.
