Charleston, Indiana RV Business Passes Rezoning Approval

Thu Aug 4, 2016

CHARLESTOWN, Indiana — Rezoning for a new Recreational Vehicle and boat sales-and-service business in Charlestown has passed approval and developers are working on the next steps.

Seth Stewart, owner of the proposed business, along with developer Eric Goodman, of Form G Companies LLC, approached the Clark County Commissioners on Thursday with a request to rezone a parcel in the Brookfield subdivision in Charlestown from A-1, agricultural, to B-2, community and roadside business, for the RV and boat business.

Stewart says that the new business, though yet unnamed, is slated for completion by mid-2017. He’s hoping to draw on resident travelers in the area for the bulk of the business, which will focus on RV sales and service, as well as boating traffic from nearby Charlestown State Park and Bushman Lake.
