The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

SHIPSHEWANA, Indiana – Highland Ridge RV has announced that Josh Streich, who is currently the director of marketing, has accepted the position of regional sales manager for the northeast territory.
Streich started with the company in 2011 as a marketing assistant, later promoted to marketing coordinator in 2012 and then promoted to director of marketing in September 2015.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2013 and completed his MBA with a concentration in marketing in 2015.
In Streitch’s five years with Highland Ridge, he has gained much knowledge and success in helping to improve the marketing and web based materials, brand identification and social media strategy, according to a press release. He also has dealt with many of the company's dealers across the country working retail shows almost every weekend during show season. He also has managed the dealer co-op programs, joint marketing efforts with dealers and working with the company's Rally groups. Bill Flint, Highland Ridge RV's vice president and general manager, says that Streich's knowledge of the company's products, floorplans, work ethic and high energy level will be a positive as he works with the dealers and their sales teams.
