Thu Aug 18, 2016

145770722814583.gifTopeka, Indiana - On the heels of its announcement regarding increased production capacity and the new Solstice fifth wheel line up, Starcraft RV is expanding its product offering again. Building on the momentum of its ultra-lite Launch travel trailer, Starcraft has announced the introduction of the next segment for the brand, the Launch “Grand Touring” edition.

“The Launch travel trailer brand has been a proven seller and huge hit for our dealers,” Starcraft President Akos Sefcsik says. “In a year-over-year comparison, Launch shipments have skyrocketed, significantly outpacing the industry in respect to growth.”

“Based on dealer input and feedback, the newly expanded Launch lineup will now cover three weight and price segments, which will now include the Launch Mini, the Launch Ultra Lite and the new Launch ‘Grand Touring’ edition,” Starcraft Vice President of Sales and Product Development Nick Eppert says.

The Launch Mini will offer six floorplans, all seven-foot wide and all super lightweight. These models will include non-slide floorplans, hybrid tent end floorplans and a new slide-out floorplan. The Launch Minis will range from just less than 3,000 pounds to just more than 3,000 pounds in dry weight. In addition, these models will offer unique floorplans, the latest in amenities and modern conveniences while maintaining an ultra-aggressive price point.

The Launch family lineup also will feature a newly redesigned Launch Ultra-Lite travel trailer. A solid retailing brand for years, this ultra-lite weight travel trailer will raise the bar with a new exterior design, new interior appointments as well as new comfort features. Available in nine floorplans and a long list of standard and optional equipment, the Launch Ultra-Lite will have plenty of configurations to fit consumers’ wants and needs.

To round out the product offering is the all new Launch “Grand Touring” edition. This segment will bring all of the looks and amenities of a high-end travel trailer to a much lighter weight and aggressively priced towable. Along with standard high-end frameless windows, the Launch “Grand Touring” will be available in two different optional tri-tone fiberglass sidewalls and full front caps. Inside, the “Grand Touring” will come standard with features such as solid surface countertops, hardwood raised upper cabinet doors and an eight-cubic foot refrigerator, just to name a few.

“The Starcraft team is dedicated to design and to providing a lineup that will both meet and exceed our dealers’ and our retail customers’ expectations”, Eppert says. “If you take these segments, offer creative floorplans, bring the latest in customer comforts, keep the price point ultra-aggressive and then wrap the entire package in a manufacturer’s two year limited warranty, it all adds up to a recipe for success for our dealers in the market.”
