Louisiana RVers Invade Wisconsin Before Football Season Debut

Fri Aug 26, 2016

BROWN COUNTY, Wisconsin - SEC college football fans are beginning to take over Titletown for the big game between Wisconsin and LSU at Lambeau Field. LSU fans love to travel - many in RVs which soon will be parked all across the Green Bay area.

On Labor Day weekend, RVs always fill Apple Creek Campground. But the De Pere Campground Manager Pam Packee says this year, most of those RVs will have Louisiana license plates.

With the Titletown District under construction, the former K-Mart lot where RVs use to park is gone. Meaning businesses in the area with space like Apple Creek and Burkel's One Block Over, are filling a need.
