RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RV Dealers International Convention/Expo features 28 Training Sessions

The deadline for members to register at discounted Advanced Registration rates is Wednesday, August 31. The theme of the convention/expo is “Gear Up for Success,” and it takes place Nov. 7-11 at Bally’s in Las Vegas. This is the premier education event for North American dealers and their top staff.

These informative, mostly hour-long sessions, are designed to allow dealership professionals to find new ways to increase profitability by learning how to use the latest and best products and services on the market. Vendor Training +Plus is free for all registered attendees. Any dealership that has registered at least one person for the convention can bring employees to attend just the Vendor Training +Plus program for $215 per person. The Vendor Training +Plus badge is good Monday and Tuesday only and will also give the holder access to the expo and the opening reception on Tuesday, November 8.

The convention is sponsored by RVDA–The National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center and each year the Convention/Expo Committee focuses on featuring new presenters to keep the content relevant and fresh for dealers.
