RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Dutchmen RV Will Use LCI's Ground Control Leveling System

147317880816231.jpgElkhart, Indiana — Lippert Components, Inc. and Dutchmen RV announced today that Ground Control TT, Lippert’s industry-first automatic leveling system for travel trailers, will be offered as a standard feature on Dutchmen’s 2017 Kodiak Ultimate, Aerolite and Denali travel trailers.

“It has been a leading feature in the fifth-wheel segment with its convenience and function, and we are confident customers will be thrilled to have this convenience feature on their travel trailers," Dutchmen RV President Troy James says. "This is one of those features that customers will wonder where it has been.”

With a newly designed LED interface, Ground Control TT levels travel trailers in under three minutes by simply pressing the Auto Level button. Once the automatic leveling sequence is set into motion, a set of front and rear jacks stabilize and level the trailer using LCI’s leveling technology.

Ground Control TT can be found on Dutchmen’s 2017 Kodiak Ultimate series travel trailers, 2017 Denali travel trailers and 2017 Aerolite travel trailers.

LCI’s Ground Control TT travel trailer leveling system will be on display at the 2016 Elkhart RV Open House on 2017 Dutchmen Kodiak Ultimate, Denali and Aerolite travel trailer models.
