Forest River Recalls Some 2017 Cherokee Trailers

Tue Sep 6, 2016

Forest River, Inc. is recalling 230 of the 2017 Cherokee recreational trailers, models CCKT16BHS, CCKT16FQ and CCKT17CJ, that were built between April 15 and July 28. The affected vehicles may have insufficient clearance between the bottom of the trailer and the top of the tire. During use, the tire may make contact, possibly damaging the tire.

As a result, the tire may deflate, increasing the risk of a crash.

Forest River will notify owners and dalers will install a bolt on the lift kit, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on Sept. 26.
