GOSHEN, Indiana — The parent company of commercial bus manufacturer Goshen Coach is relocating the operation so that it can instead manufacture recreational vehicles at the Goshen plant.
The Milwaukee-based REV Group plans to launch a Fleetwood RV operation at the facility on Leer Drive in December, and it is expected to be staffed by 165 employees when it's fully operational in 2017, REV Bus Group President John Walsh says.
Walsh says the 159 employees who now work for Goshen Coach, which will be shut down at the end of November, will have a chance to apply for positions at Fleetwood RV, which will manufacture type C motorhomes. Fleetwood RV is a subsidiary of the REV Group.
