RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Highland Ridge RV Hires Ben Johnson as National Sales Manager

147318089086351.jpgSHIPSHEWANA, Indiana – Bill Flint, VP and GM at Highland Ridge RV has announced that Ben Johnson has joined Highland Ridge as National Sales Manager and Product Development Manager.

“Ben brings 13 years of experience at Jayco as an RSM, Brand Manager and Senior Director of Product Development for Luxury Fifth Wheels," Flint says. "His experience and success will help us continue our sales growth, new product introductions and brand development.”

In his role with the company, the Regional Sales Managers and Product Managers will be reporting to Johnson.

Johnson is married with four young children and lives in Middlebury. He also is a graduate of Northridge High School and Goshen College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
