RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Cedar Mountain RVI Will Offer Wi-Fi Solutions at Hershey RV Show

CHANTILLY, Virginia - Cedar Mountain RVI will be at Booth 161 during the Hershey RV Show from Sept. 12-18, covering both industry days and public days of America’s largest RV show. Cedar Mountain RVI offers RV services and outdoor Wi-Fi solutions, and will be answering questions and providing consultations to RVers as well as campground and RV park owners, according to a press release from Cedar Mountain RVI.

The company also will welcome Sigmawifi and Morse Technologies CEO Eli Morse to the show. Morse will be spending time at the booth and will be available to discuss his company’s premiere outdoor Wi-Fi networks.

Cedar Mountain RVI, an authorized Truma dealer, will be offering a Truma LevelCheck giveaway at the booth for the duration of the show, as well as signups for free Wi-Fi site surveys for RV park and campground owners. Additionally, a Special Event on Saturday will offer 15 percent off Winterizing services.

The company’s CEO, Wayne Hulit, will be conducting a seminar titled “Wi-Fi for the Full-time RV Road Warrior: Running your Business from the Road,” on Wednesday through Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Locker Room seminar venue. The seminar will discuss the challenges of Wi-Fi on the road, and the solutions that can overcome them.

Cedar Mountain RVI will be scheduling for one of its premiere RV services, fluid analysis, during the show. Fluid analysis is like a blood test for RVs, and offers a look inside the RV, assessing vehicle performance as well as detecting major issues before they become catastrophes on the road. Fluid analysis, offered in conjunction with partner JG Lubricant Services, is available for motorhomes as well as tow-vehicles for fifth wheels and travel trailers.
