RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Elkhart Education Foundation Golf Classic Tees Off Oct. 3

Elkhart, Indiana - Take a swing for Elkhart schools. The second annual Elkhart Education Foundation’s Golf Classic will take place on Oct. 3 starting at 11 a.m. with registration and a 12 p.m. shotgun start at the Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Indiana.

The day-long benefit also gives the chance to win great prizes such as a LASIK procedure donated by Boling Vision, a trip to Puerto Vallarta, unique Sports Packages, and more.

“Lippert Components is dedicated to supporting youth in Elkhart County and providing the building blocks for future success," Lippert Components Director of Philanthropic Partnerships Michilah Grimes says. "Elkhart Education Foundation is an important catalyst in that mission. We are happy to support their goals through our sponsorship of the Golf Classic."

Guests of the golf outing will enjoy a beautiful autumn afternoon on the greens with appetizers, lunch and a dessert and awards reception. Golfers of every level are invited as this is an event even non-golfers could enjoy. Contests, games and a raffle to win Bears Tickets and an Notre Dame Football Package will make it a wortwhile outing, according to a press release. Proceeds benefit the teachers and students of Elkhart Community Schools through the Elkhart Education Foundation.
