The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Delta-Q Technologies has released its new lithium charger development kit to the RV market.
The new kit is designed to help accelerate product development is lithium for OEMs, battery and BMS companies.
The kit provides an IC1200 charger, pre-loaded charge profiles, appropriate cabling and guides to help engineers get started quickly with lithium testing, according to the company's website.
The kit is rated at IP-66, which means it is suitable for applications like aerial work platforms, e-mobility, floor care machines, utility vehicles, lift trucks and more.
In addition to the battery charger, the kit comes with a 3M Ac Cord, two 24 V DC harnesses, a wire harness, rubber mounting feet and a DC terminal lid with signal cover.
