The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Elkhart, Indiana – In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Forest River, Inc. is going all out for its ninth annual Forest River Product Expo.
On Tuesday evening, country artist Trace Adkins will be performing. Then, on Wednesday night, rock group Daughtry will take the stage. Both Grammy-nominated acts will be performing at 8 p.m. on their respective nights in the entertainment building at Forest River’s Dynamax facility.

The Forest River Product Expo, a dealer-only event, runs Monday, Sept. 19 through Thursday, Sept. 22, and expects to draw more than 5,000 people to the Dynamax facility where it will be showcasing over 600 of its RVs, cargo trailers, buses, pontoons and commercial vehicles, all in one location.
