RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVDA Webinar Will Cover OSHA, EPA and DOT Regulations

145072686053695.jpgFairfax, Virginia - RV dealerships and truck dealerships face a unique set of challenges when staying compliant with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and an upcoming webinar will touch on a variety of issues relevant to dealership personnel.

On Thursday, Sept. 15 at noon ET, the Mike Molino RV Learning Center will present a free KPA webinar that will analyze regulations that affect various types of dealerships and provide tactical advice on ways to mitigate the risk of non-compliance. Register online.

Join KPA's Glorianna Corman, Sr. Risk Management Consultant, as she shares her expertise in the areas of OSHA log compliance, forklift regulations, waste disposal, fall protection and AC and DOT compliance. The webinar will equip dealership staff to understand the unique risks they face and explain effective ways to stay on the right side of the law.
