SylvanSport Showcasing Go Camping Trailer at Open House

Tue Sep 13, 2016

From Sept. 19-23, SylvanSport will be showcasing its award-winning GO camping trailer at the 2016 Elkhart RV Open House, one of the RV industry’s two key national wholesale RV-buying trade venues.

The Elkhart Open House draws more than 4,000 RV dealers from the U.S. and Canada and 60 RV manufacturers and suppliers. Over the course of two and a half days, an estimated $1 billion worth of business is generated, truly making this event the “Super Bowl” of the RV industry.

2016 has been an incredible year for SylvanSport, according to a press release. The growth of new dealers in the RV industry has been staggering.

“We’re averaging two to four new dealers a month”, Vice President of Sales Earl Hunter says. “When I look at our map, I see only a few territories that still need to be covered and we expect to fill some of those holes at Elkhart. What I love to see with our dealers, isn’t the initial order, but reorders. That means our dealers are selling through and then already having units sold, even before the next shipment arrives. It’s part of our dealer strategy to help promote and support each and every one of our dealers, not just with product, but through marketing as well. It’s not just a drop-off and good luck, we want to help get people to their doors.”

“SylvanSport has created a truly unique product, which fills a lot of different needs," says Charlie Wolf, a sales manager at Beckleys Camping Center in Thurmont, Maryland. "It’s amazing, you have to have two units on display - one set up (in Camping Mode) and one down, to truly show the versatility of the unit. SylvanSport has been a great company to work with, they’ve always provided outstanding support and help from the factory and Earl Hunter is the real deal.”

With this year’s continuing success, SylvanSport is receptive to new partnerships. If you are interested in becoming a part of the SylvanSport dealer network, and meeting us at the RV Open House in Elkhart, contact SylvanSport at 828-883-4292, or email Hunter at sales@sylvansport.com.
