RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

The 2016 Snowbird RV Show and Sale Begins Thursday

From Sept. 22-25, the latest in RV models, products to enhance the RV lifestyle, seminars and more will be taking over the trade and exhibition center.

With more than 50 exhibitors that include popular resorts, parts and service experts, accessories, truck customizing and hitches as well as outdoor all-terrain toys, the show can be important for RV industry and RVers alike.

Daily seminars including “how to” demonstrations on winterizing, solar, travel advice and many other topics are once again featured at the This Old RV Seminar Stage. Do not forget to check out the area for Private Sales of RVs by the public.

Whether you identify as an adventure seeker, a seasoned RVer or a young family, there is something for everyone in the more than 120,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Guests will have the chance to tour the newest RV models, learn about travel trends and get the latest and greatest tips from industry experts.

For the first time this year, show visitors will have the chance to meet the inspirational Kellogg family. This family of 14 have been living, learning and travelling across North America in their 36-foot Georgie Boy Cruise Air Master RV since 2012.

Having the Kellogg family join this year's Snowbird RV Show & Sale is "an exciting and unique feature that we are sure our guests will thoroughly enjoy," Show Producer Amanda Henschell says. "They have a great story to tell and could not be more passionate about the RV lifestyle."
