RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

All Valley RV Center Opens Second Location

147516867885528.jpgACTON, California - All Valley RV Center has announced the upcoming opening of its second location. The new facility will be located at 42207 3rd Street East, Lancaster, California, 93535; just 15 miles north of its current location. All Valley RV Center’s second location grand opening is slated for Nov. 7. The new facility will be designated for RV service, collision repair, rentals and a parts store.

With the retiring of long time local business owner Dale Spooner, of Dale’s Hitchin’ Station; the opportunity presented itself for All Valley RV Center to move into the existing location, according to a press release. Owners Troy Padgett and Bruce McGovern could not pass on the opportunity.

“After 11 years in business, our customer base has grown significantly and the need for a second location was necessary,” Padgett says. “We are excited to open a location in the heart of the Antelope Valley. Especially for RV rentals.

"There is currently a void in our community for rentals and we are pleased to offer this service,” Marketing Director Melissa Gomez says.

“Opening a second service location is valuable to our current customers and future customers alike," McGovern adds. "The wait time to have their RV serviced will be decreased drastically.”

Opening in April 2005 with the help of Roy Padgett, the longtime owner of Young’s RV Center of Lancaster, California, All Valley RV Center has grown to 26 full time employees; 10 of which started with the company in 2005. All Valley RV Center sells new and used RVs and represents Jayco, Keystone, Heartland and Highland Ridge.
