RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Northgate Resorts to Use AGS Publications on Eight Jellystone Parks

CROWLEY, Texas — Northgate Resorts plans to use AGS Publications to produce guest guides for all eight of its Jellystone Park properties, the companies have announced.

“We are impressed with the quality of their work, which is why we’ve decided to have AGS produce the guest guides for our entire portfolio of Jellystone Parks,” Northgate Resort Marketing Manager Jill Simpson says.

In addition to owning Jellystone Parks in Kerrville and Canyon Lake, Texas, Northgate Resorts owns and operates Jellystone Parks in Lodi, California; Memphis; Hagerstown, Maryland; Luray, Virginia; Quarryville, Pennsylvania and Gardiner, New York.

AGS, for its part, produces guest guides for more than 1,000 campgrounds, RV parks and resorts across North America, including some of the largest and best known private park networks in the country.

Its clients include Equity LifeStyle Properties; Houston-based Legacy RV Resorts; Memphis-based RVC Outdoor Adventures; Irvine, California-based Highway West Vacations; and Houston-based Quality RV Resorts. AGS also produces guest guides for numerous corporate owned KOA parks as well as dozens of franchises with KOA and Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts across North America.
