The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RV News magazine is proud to announce it is launching a daily newsletter that will be emailed to industry decision makers who want to be “in-the-know” on what is happening everyday in the RV industry.
The e-newsletter will feature all headlines that have been posted on its website in the last 24 hours. Subscribers can quickly scan the daily headlines to be informed of the day’s latest news. If a particular headline is of interest, a simple click takes them to the RV News website: www.rvnews.com to read the entire story.
The e-newsletter will be deployed each day at 1 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.
“We are really excited about this new service to the RV industry,” says Dana Nelsen, owner of DRN Media Inc., RV News’ parent company. “The newsletter will feature exclusive stories that can’t be found anywhere else. Additionally, it will contain press releases, white papers, videos and blogs.
"RV News readers and advertisers have been demanding an emailed daily news wrap since I started the company in November of 2015. Initially, I felt that other news organizations had this fairly well covered but readers have told me that our coverage is more complete and if we emailed them it would help keep them better informed.”
The newsletter will feature all of the RV industry news articles, videos, blogs and RV News exclusive stories created that day, as well as a section of bigger news stories that have run in recent days. Stories will cover newly released RV products, new hirings, new locations, partnerships, acquisitions, financial statements, trade show previews, features and more.
RV News averages from 7 to 15 new stories on the RV industry per day and the website is being updated daily with additional content, photos, videos and more.
