The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Rollin' On TV has announced that the Erwin Hymer Group America has signed on as a sponsoring partner of Rollin' On TV for 2017.
Erwin Hymper Group President and CEO Jim Hammill spoke with the TV show about its company being an advertising sponsor and the weekly RV and Camping television show agreed that it would be a perfect fit, according to a press release.
This advertising partnership also was a perfect fit because the current advertising format doesn't allow for competing product lines to both serve as sponsors. The type B manufacturer filled a void that the TV show had open.
"We’ve begun working with Jim and his advertising and marketing staff on new ads and promotions for the 2017 season and look forward to working together through-out the year," Executive Producer Jone Moniz says in a press release.
The Erwin Hymer Group is Europe’s leading caravan and motorhome manufacturer and has 10 brands under one roof including popular brands, Burster and Hymer. The Erwin Hymer Group North America is based in Kitchener, Ontario.
Rollin’ On TV has a weekly household reach of close to 40 million homes both on cable and satellite TV. The program also can be seen on the company's website, as well as Facebook and other social media sites.
