RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

LKQ Adding 100,000 Square Feet of Office Space in Nashville

146523037734591.pngLKQ Corp. is pursuing a lease on 100,000 square feet of a former Macy's anchor store space in Antioch, Tennessee with plans to consolidate its existing Nashville support operations and add jobs there.

LKQ Corp.'s efforts to secure the office space at what used to be Hickory Hollow Mall comes as the company has run out of space at its accounting, human resources and information technology hub at 655 Grassmere Park Drive in Nashville. The company also has office support employees working out of leased warehouse building space at 501 Mason Road in La Vergne.

LKQ has had 200 to 400 employees at its 52,805-square-foot accounting, human resources and information technology hub on Grassmere Park Drive. The company also has at least another 30 to 40 accounting and other support employees working in La Vergne.
