RVDA Releases New Mobile App for 2016 Convention/Expo

Mon Oct 24, 2016

146497011774596.gifFairfax, Virginia - A new and upgraded RVDA mobile app for the 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo is ready for free download in the Apple and Android app stores.

The app, sponsored by Protective Asset Protection, is designed to improve the overall convention experience by putting all the details of the event on the user’s mobile device along with capabilities for social media sharing, personalized scheduling, and up to the minute alerts.

Convention/Expo attendees can customize their schedules, access all workshop titles by track and time, complete session evaluations online, view speaker handouts and use interactive maps of the exhibit hall and the meeting facilities.

The 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo takes place Nov. 7-11 at Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip. This year’s theme is “Gear Up for Success.” RVDA and Protective Asset Protection’s XtraRide are celebrating 25 years as the association’s exclusively endorsed service agreement.

“Creating personalized schedules, getting up-to-the-minute alerts, and having easy access to maps, handouts and exhibitor listings all work together to create a valuable tool everyone can use to get more out of the convention,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia says.

The app includes a complete listing of all participants, social media links and an opportunity to upload and share photos.

All speaker handouts for workshops will be available in digital format on users’ smartphones and tablets. In addition, there are in-app features allowing workshop and convention evaluations. These features eliminate wasted resources and free attendees from paperwork.

To download the app for the 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, go to the RVDA website or search RVDA in the Apple or Android App stores. Users don't need to log in to use the app, but more features are available with login. Convention registrants who do not know their RVDA password should contact the RVDA staff to have the app set up. Dealers should email Chuck Boyd at cboyd@rvda.org for their login and password, and associate members should contact Julie Newhouse at jnewhouse@rvda.org.

The convention is sponsored by RVDA, RVDA of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
