RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lippert Components Promotes Casey to Director of Motorized Sales

147758601624478.jpgElkhart, Indiana — Lippert Components, Inc. has announced that Ryan Casey has been promoted to Director of Motorized Sales, covering all of LCI’s motorized product lines. In his new role, Casey will join forces with LCI’s motorized product lines team and work with OEM customers to expand LCI product content.

“It’s a pleasure working with Ryan," LCI Regional Operations Manager Storm Miller says. "His tactful customer relations skills and in-depth metal fabrication knowledge are unmatched. Ryan is a very motivated individual and brings a wide variety of educational and workplace experiences that we know will enhance our Motorized Sales division."

“We recognize the needs of the motorized industry are unique, and adding the horsepower of a strong talent like Ryan to lead our team is another example of our commitment to support the motorized market," LCI Vice President of Sales Andy Murray says. Casey began his career with LCI two years ago as General Manager of Plant 72, the company’s fabrication and e-coat division. Casey is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington where he triple majored in business administration, marketing and advertising. Casey also is a successful business owner, operating four businesses in the glass, transportation, construction and parts distribution industries.

“I’m excited to take on this new role and to grow LCI’s motorized product offerings with our OEM customers," Casey says. "There are a lot of possibilities and this is a huge opportunity to influence our motorized sales efforts. I’m excited to take [our sales] to the next level."
