RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Alliance Coach Announces Storage Partnership

Alliance Coach RV Sales and Service of Wildwood, Florida has announced a partnership with Secure Covered Storage offering RV owners a place to safely store their unit.

RV owners, who live in or frequent central Florida will now have available a state-of-the-art RV service center and nearby storage facility suitable for type A motorhomes. Secured Covered Storage offers de spaces from 30 to 60 feet long, covered or open, with 30- or 50-amp electrical service and pull-through spots available.

“Instead of having to travel a long distance to get their RV out of storage to bring it in for service, this new facility located directly behind Alliance Coach will make it easier for the guest to drive over,” says Alliance Coach owner Alan Shapiro.

“Plus, we will have the option of sending a technician there by golf cart. This will be so much more convenient for our customers. Whether they are getting pre-storage preparations made or need our service center to get their RV ready for their next cross-country journey, they can quickly get their coach to us in just a few minutes.”
