RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

WFCO Offers Video Assist

Elkhart, Ind. — WFCO Electronics has added a new video to its online library, providing dealers and technicians with more resources to help them install WFCO products and communicate the benefits of those products to their customers.

The new video details the removal of old and obsolete power center converters, and the installation of WFCO’s 8955REP converter. The replacement kit used allows technicians to easily upgrade the lower section of existing power centers to WFCO’s powerhouse three-stage charging system, ensuring high-performance for customers’ electrical needs. The kit includes a new DC fuse board and all required fasteners.

“WFCO works tirelessly to meet the needs of service professionals in the RV industry, and we are always looking for ways to help streamline installation and make their day a little easier,” WFCO Vice President of Sales and Marketing Tom Ryan says. “Adding this installation video, and others to come, to our online toolbox is our way of bringing the information directly to who it benefits the most.”
