RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

National RV Supply Hires New District Sales Leader

147826935433543.jpgElkhart, Indiana – National RV Supply has announced that Lonnie Anhorn has joined its team of sales professionals as District Sales Leader in California.

"We are very excited to have someone with Lonnie's RV expertise and background join us in this capacity," National RV Supply Director of Outside Sales Brad Green says. "His experience is a perfect fit to assist the dealer network with the success and profitability of their parts and service department."

Anhorn attended Fresno State University and has been in the RV business since the 1970s. He has held a variety of positions at both the dealer and manufacturer level and has more than 30 years’ experience in parts distribution with Coast Distribution and NTP/Stag most recently.

"I am thankful for the opportunity to work with National RV Supply and offer the dealers a wide range of parts and great pricing," Anhorn says. "With the current changes in the marketplace, I felt this was the best opportunity for me and my dealers to make their parts departments more profitable. I'm happy to be working with such great people."

Anhorn not only views his customers as business associates, but also friends, according to a press release.

When not on the road serving his customers, Anhorn can often be found on Route 1 riding his Harley.
