Thetford Launches New Sewer Kit

Tue Nov 8, 2016

147862231321729.pngAnn Arbor, Mich. – RVer response has been strong the Thetford Corporation launch of its new sewer hose system earlier this year, the company reports.

Now Thetford has expanded its Titan hose lineup with a new 20-foot sewer kit for RVers who may need a longer hose to empty their holding tanks.

“Titan’s industry-leading features and attractive price have been very popular with consumers since introduction earlier this year,” says Senior Product Manager Derry Yourman. “The key to the new 20-foot kit is that we provide two 10-foot hoses, which gives RVers the flexibility to handle almost every situation.”

The hose is virtually uncrushable, the company says, and provides a high degree of puncture and abrasion resistance. It also functions in extreme temperatures.

The kit also makes it easy to manage sewer connections with an adapter that fits most sewer hookups. It is translucent, allowing one to see – not guess – when the tank is done emptying. The system has a handle that prevents a potentially messy sewer port while locking in the adapter.

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Thetford supplies sanitation and refrigeration products for RVs, marine and heavy-duty trucks. It is a privately-held company with seven manufacturing facilities in four nations.
