RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

National RV Hires New Team

Elkhart, Ind. – National RV Supply has added three RV parts and accessories people to its national sales team: Kim Anthony, Dena Fearnow, and Jody Runke. The trio has a combined 100 years of experience in the RV industry.

Anthony has worked in the RV aftermarket for 34 years, including a year at Meyer Distributing and the previous 33 years with Coast Distribution. She has a customer base in the Northwest and resides in Salem, Oregon with her family, including three grandchildren.

Fearnow has worked in the RV industry for 29 years, including Coast Distribution for 11 years and at two different RV dealerships for 18 years. She has worked in sales, parts and service, and finance and insurance, and resides in Elkhart, Indiana with her family.

Runke has worked in the RV aftermarket for 37 years, including Trailer Supply, Coast Distribution, and most recently at Meyer Distributing for a year. She has customers in California, Oregon and Washington, and resides in Milwaukie, Oregon, with her family including five grandchildren.

They will report to Don Bachman, National Director of Inside Sales. National RV Supply is a wholesale company serving the RV and outdoor industry.
