RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Demco Introduces Recon 21K Fifth Wheel Hitch

147914456442440.jpgDemco, a Boyden, Iowa-based company has introduced the Recon 21K fifth wheel hitch to its growing Hijacker line of fifth wheel hitches. The Recon will feature a lighter weight design, smaller head and fifth wheel style hook up to the pin box.

The Recon will give dealers and consumers a new look fifth wheel hitch design that doesn’t compromise the pin box or frame of the fifth wheel trailer. The geometric design features three built-in height adjustments, dual pivot head with wrap around jaw for easy hook up and safe, secure towing experience and fits ISR rails.

"Dealers and installers across the country are seeing the value of having one line of fifth wheel hitches for their stores. We offer everything from Autoslide hitches, manual sliders and stationary hitches.
