RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lippert Components Celebrates 4 Millionth Axle

147914320237960.jpgElkhart, Indiana — On Tuesday, Oct. 25, Lippert Components, Inc. celebrated the production of its 4 millionth axle at Plant 45 in Goshen, Indiana. LCI’s Axle Division celebrated the achievement with a catered lunch and a special red, white and blue axle was built and signed by LCI employees to commemorate the milestone.

LCI has been manufacturing axles since 2005 and produces approximately 2,800 axles each day for a variety of towable applications including RVs, utility trailers, horse and livestock trailers and heavy equipment trailers. LCI manufacturers a full line of reliable spring, torsion and heavy-duty axles at Plant 45.

“We are very excited to be celebrating this milestone. Our team works unbelievably hard,” LCI Plant 45 General Manager Adam Clark says.
