RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

CuroGens, Inc. to Join RVIA Trade Show

Global systems integrator, CuroGens, Inc., will join motor vehicle manufacturers and suppliers at the 2016 Recreational Vehicle Industry Association National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky from Nov. 28 through Dec. 1.

CuroGens will demonstrate its cloud-based vehicle management solution, mv360, which presently is used by several of the industry’s leading RV manufacturers.

CuroGens mv360 is designed to make it easy for manufacturers and their dealer networks to quickly access motor vehicle sales and service data in real time. This fosters improved communications and satisfaction with dealer partners and, ultimately, the end user. The solution facilitates seamless access to warranty claims, parts orders, recalls, service advisories and more.

“We’ve found great success attending the National RV Trade Show," CuroGens CEO Jesper Kehlet says. "It gives us the opportunity to further understand the needs of manufacturers and how we can address their dealer communication and inventory management challenges. This year, CuroGens has chosen ‘Rock the RVIA’ as its exhibitor booth theme and will pay homage to classic rock songs that speak to common pain points for RV OEMs. Along with receiving rock-themed giveaways, show attendees will have the opportunity to register for a chance to win tickets to a concert of their choice (a $200 value).

“CuroGens has experienced steady growth in serving the RV market for the past several years,” Kehlet says.

In 2016, the firm expanded into the marine market and, in 2017, intends to enter the commercial trucking and motorcycle manufacturing sectors.
